I was nicknamed “Sunny” by some very good friends during a very challenging time in my life. As I embraced my new name day by day, I slowly began to believe in myself again and to “be” my name. I accepted my uniqueness and allowed myself to be the full spectrum of who I felt I was, far beyond the events that had partially shaped me. Over time, and out of the ashes, my Inner Phoenix was reborn, even more vivid and colorful than her prior plumage. This was a sacred gift, a gift I wish to share with others through several healing modalities that I have been blessed to study and practice.
